Ranchilio Epocha
Posted September 24th, 2007 by BosstralianCan anyone give me any advice about this particular machine? We are a medium volume shop and are in desperate need of an upgrade. Obviously parts and service need to be accessible... we are in northern Kentucky. Any other recommendations under the $5000 mark would also be welcomed?
What is the best??
Posted October 27th, 2007 by RissaRedHello,
I am looking for a machine that makes the overall best Starbucks-tasting coffee (using Starbucks beans, of course).
If possible include a price or a link to somewhere that sells it.
I do not need one that is best for making espressos, lattes, etc., just regular, dark brewed coffee.
Thanks.
Stainless steel vs. glass?
Posted November 5th, 2007 by RissaRedI have been researching for a good coffeemaker, and I have boiled it down to the Technivorm KB-741. However, there are two versions of the same maker, one with a glass carafe, and one with a thermo stainless steel carafe.

BTW, the glass carafe version has a heated hotplate with adjustable temperature setting, whereas the stainless steel version does not.
Which do you think is better, and why?
How many groups
Posted November 11th, 2007 by CoffeeDrivenI am about to open a drive-thru and I expect heavy traffic. I want to get people on there way so I was thinking a 4 group head machine. Two people, one at each window and two group heads per person and one wand. They would both get their own grinder as well.
Then someone told me that all I need is three groups, but I think they will be knocking elbows. Then someone else told me to get two, two group machines. I think thats over kill and will take up a lot of room.
Any suggestions...
Does anyone own an over $1000 premium coffee machine
Posted November 15th, 2007 by annHi! I am a student and is working on a “premium coffee machine” project.
Anyone who owns an over $1000 coffee machine, could you please share your experience with me.
Why did you spending so much on a coffee machine?
What are you looking for from your coffee machine?
What do you expect others to say about your coffee machine?
How do you feel about the machines feature?
Is it more than functional object?
How do you get the info of the coffee machine before purchasing?
Does your coffee machine support your image?
Any experience you share with me would be appreciated.

**NEW** Break Thru Espresso Machine Cleaner
Posted January 24th, 2008 by nabilHI every one My name is Nabil and I own a coffee shop in the Seattle area. I have been working on my product for the past three years and have finally completed the last step. None of the other cleaners on the market can compete with my product. My product will clean your espresso machine faster, more through, without soaking or scrubbing. It can be used for the back flush process, cleaning group heads, the porta-filters, shower screens, and the steam wands. I would love to hear from you. I'm just a small town business man trying to make it in this challenging market. Please help and support my new product, Ka-Kleen.
Thank you.
