Perk Place Coffee Shop

Background

Dreamed of in 1999 and became a reality in 2003, after converting a dilapidated 20 x 30 concrete block building in a run down neighborhood just because I needed a good (no- GREAT) cup of coffee in the morning. I went ahead and opened because no chain store would touch the area. That was 5 years ago now I am moving to a larger building next door and adding beer and wine.

Keys to Success

Location-Great coffee and a sense of humor.

Target Customers

Any warm blooded person who needs a perk -me-up morning, noon or nighty -night -night. Being located 3 miles north of the Atlanta Airport and FREE WI-FI has not hurt a bit either. Exit 75 off Interstate 85.

Challenges Faced

Space is the final frontier

Where We're Headed

To a place where no man has gone before. At least not in Hapeville (home of the rednecks-and Jeff Foxworthy). We are now in the middle of planing a move to the building next door. Double the space. In 5 years Perk Place will be the best place to get perked.
