Background
We've recently relocated to Downtown Milwaukee, WI. We have an Italian flare with bright colors, Italian deli sandwiches, gourmet Italian gelato, Sicilian pastries, fresh fruit smoothies and we even have a Vespa on display. The coffee, gelato, bakery and sandwiches really compliment one another. We are unlike any other coffee house in the area with what we offer. We also offer delivery of our products within a one block radius as long as the order is above $25.
Keys to Success
We really wanted to distinguish our place from fourbucks and other chains. My experience has shown me that starting with the best possible ingredients, a clean and warm environment and superior customer attentiveness is only part of the equation. We must also be consistent in the preparation of every order all at a fair value to the client. This location has been open for three weeks and we have seen a steady increase of clientele. The gelato is really taking off and the sandwiches are unique for this area. Our goal is to make every visit to Nervosa a dining experience so to build the loyal following we will need to be successful.
Target Customers
With our offerings we have a wide demographic from young children to grandparents, lawyers to construction workers, bankers to parking attendants.
Challenges Faced
Our clients continued to ask for lunch items so we added sandwiches. We are very open to the clients requests and are willing to adjust our menu accordingly.
Where We're Headed
We would like to open an additional location in the are with a larger gelato display and a deck/patio.
