Background
I am the owner of a private security firm who frequented local coffee shops on a daily basis. I was sitting with my family eating some ice cream in a new commercial development and thought a coffee shop would work well here. I began looking into it and eventually found out that Starbucks was also looking at the same location. Well, here I am, 8 months later...beat out the "big guy"!!! The Grounds Coffee House was established in November of 2006 and opened it's doors for business on March 5, 2007.

At The Grounds, we have a strong sense of customer relations. We make every attempt to engage every customer. It is not just about standing in a line awaiting your coffee. We make them feel welcome and keep them coming back. We have created an environment that is comfortable and relaxing. Plus we have the best locally roasted coffee.. !!
Target Customers
Everyone is welcome....We are locatd in the middle of a complex that features a 16 screen movie theater, 140,000 sg/ft office building and many eating and shopping establishments. We get a variety of people and serve a variety of drinks.
