Background
We're continuing the tradition of there being a store on our site since 1844. We have three departments: Coffee & Bakery; Fine Delicatessen; Groceries & Gifts.
Keys to Success
While it certainly helps that we're the ONLY store in our little town, the fact that we're intimately involved in our community makes a difference. We don't take the fact that we have a monopoly for granted!
Special Events
Programs on the Piazza, Christmas on the Common, Halloween in the Village Center... a few of the many programs we are involved in.
Target Customers
Our store has seven distinct market groups. Our coffee and bakery products are a favorite of all!
Challenges Faced
Small retail stores have high overhead. We are constantly seeking ways to reduce expenses and find new, creative ways to increase revenues.
Where We're Headed
Our immedite plans are to expand. Beyond that we're hoping to find time for a vacation.
