The coffee and tea shop is a new addition to a Library that's been around for a really long time. So far our challenges are few. We expect more to show themselves and we are looking forward to moving forward and cross these hurdles as they arise. Ultimately, we are hoping that with strong community support the coffee shop will help overcome Library funding issues that have been around for a long time.
Our goal is to be at the heart of a thriving community and strong downtown environment. By diversifying the funding strategy of Elizabethtown Public Library a 501(c)(3) we are strengthening our financial outlook. In doing so, we hope to provide programming, an even greater variety of materials and continue to be a public Library like none other! We are excited about our future and want other Libraries to be as excited as we are. We will be providing consulting services for other Libraries wanting to add coffee and tea service as a way of furthering their missions.
Elizabethtown Coffee Company is located inside Elizabethtown Public Library just off the square in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Parking is available behind the building or at a variety of local parking lots.
