Background
Cherree's Espresso is a drive thru Espresso stand located at The Third Avenue Miniature Golf in Yakima Washington. My window opened in July of 2007. I serve hot, iced, and blended drinks along with soda, Red Bull, and snacks.
Keys to Success
I offer a smile to my customers no matter the time of day or the temperature that hits my face when I open the window. I believe fair and friendly keeps the customers coming back.
Special Events
Currently, I just have daily specials and gift cards. I have donated to a local activity raffle drawings. Future I would like to pick a charity as a project to donate a percentage of craft item sales.

Challenges Faced
Yakima is a rural city with around 49 competitors not counting the chain stores and grocery store espresso stands. It is challenging to make a living, but each month sales improve. This is my seventh month of business so I do not have any history to fall back on. I am hoping that Coffee House Talk will give me the resources to become more successful.
Where We're Headed
I would like to see my stand grow and become busier. As a computer tech myself, I would like to expand in a few years to adding an Internet Café' and possibly deli foods. Being a business owner has been very rewarding and I want to run the business until retirement age.
